Cities in Dust by Christopher Mitten, Antony Johnston

4.0

Intriguing, addictive, post-apocalyptic fiction - the first volume places readers firmly in a world, 100 years after the "big wet", where refugees whose homes were burned by zombie-like "sand-eaters" attempt to seek refuge in a city ruled by a genocidal madman. One can't help but think of the parallels between Wasteland and the Biblical Exodus as they get deeper into the book. I'm looking forward to reading more!
