Absolutely delightful book! Well-paced, cleverly-written, and overall a wonderful portal fantasy. My only complaint (light spoilers ahead) is that despite the emphasis on our lead not remembering hardly anything of her former life, there were A LOT of contemporary references. Very funny ones! But it did slightly pull me out of the story each time because my brain would immediately go “wait you don’t remember if you’re from California or Florida but you do remember both Kenny Loggins and random D&D trivia?” Other than that, an excellent read and I cannot wait for the second one!
