“You know, you could live a thousand lifetimes and not deserve him.”

Yes, Haymitch. I agree. Why is Peeta so good in this book?

Anyway, I like this less than The Hunger Games. I don't know why but I found Katniss really infuriating here. She's like a ball of madness for 80% of the book. And there's Haymitch and Peeta always trying to find her and calm her down. I mean what happened to that strong and clever girl from the 1st book? Or maybe she just lost her wits. Because she thought it's finally done, she can live without starving with her family, and then all hell broke loose when she inspired an uprising which made President Snow make the Quarter Quell's tributes reaped from the pool of Victors. Which is really cheap. Isn't he supposed to be old and wise?

On another note, I loved seeing more of the Prep Team here. Venia, Flavius, Octavia, they're actually really sweet. And I loved how this book humanizes the people of the Capitol.

My favorite scene would be when all the victors joined hands on stage after the interview.
