De monogram moorden: een nieuw Hercule Poirot-mysterie
by Sophie Hannah
This had the true Christie vibe but I could also sense a little bit off Hannah in the mix with the psychological mysteries.
Reading from the perspective of Catchpool, you really went through the same emotions: mostly annoyance with Poirot. But I think that's the beauty of it, especially knowing that Agatha Christie herself really disliked her own character Poirot. Although Catchpool could be slightly annoying and overly dramatic at times (for an experienced detective)z
Just some incoherent thoughts, but the point is: I really enjoyed this overall
Update: I missed Hastings.
