Dave Cullen's empathy, commitment to honoring victims and their families, and ability to look honestly at Columbine before, during, and after the shootings is masterfully done. He spent a decade crafting this book and it shows. I will always be astounded that 23 years later we still don't have a solution (nor a desire) to curtail the exploitation of gun loopholes, implement effective gun control, and prevent angry white men (and boys) from walking into schools and gunning down children.
