Broken Brains by Rosie Waterland, Jamila Rizvi
emotional
informative
sad
medium-paced
5.0
Rosie and Jamila are so captivating in telling their own stories (and sometimes others) about living with a broken brain. This was a very emotional book that I didn’t want to put down, as they explore living with a physical health issue vs a mental health issue.
For anyone that has lived or known someone that has lived with one of these, I felt like both Rosie and Jamila exquisitely captured the experiences in this book, sometimes using humour to walk through some real hard topics!
