These books by Sally Andrew are hidden treasures. I had read it in book form already and enjoyed it just as much on audio. Set in South Africa.
Tannie Maria used recipes as part of her  advice column in the local paper… the recipes are included too! She and her friends get involved in a murder or two, and work  hard to solve it. She is beautifully and compassionately written, a slightly unexpected heroine, but one you very quickly take to your heart.
