Didn't Mean To Love You by Christina C. Jones
5.0
I think its safe to say I'm obsessed with Christina C Jones and her books. I can always count on her to give me exactly what I'm looking for.
Black Love, Black Excellence, Character Development, Exposition, Fun, Pain, Conflict, Romance, Authenticity, Swag, Slayage, EVERYTHING.
I enjoyed reading about Vivienne and Carter, their struggles, insecurities, baggage, dysfunction and eventually love. I was completely engrossed in their story from beginning to end which is probably why it only took me a few hours to finish it. As always Christina presents her characters and stories in a way where you can't help but be invested in their lives. I loved seeing Vivienne and Carter struggle and overcome thier very different but parallel insecurities.
LOVED IT!
