The set-up of this book is fascinating, and the commentary it makes on social media "justice" and cancel culture. The characters are not particularly likeable but I wanted things to work out for them. I was most interested in them when they were interacting with others (esp. at work), not just stewing in their own thoughts and worries (esp. Ola). The audiobook version was great to hear the different accents but a lot of the slang is hard to parse as an American. Wished there was a visual component for the fashion!
The pacing was weird and it seemed to drag in the middle. My audiobook loan ran out with an hour to go and I haven't decided if I care enough to read the ending.
