The perfect middle, somewhere between sorrow and real agony, and happy ever after is this amazing story about four people. It's amazing how every bit of it is simply breathtaking, with its raw description, its wit, its vast knowledge in trivia, which was in no way trivial--believe me!, and its warmth. I was so comforted by this book. I needed a happy one and a happy one I worked for; four hundred and eighty eight pages of amazing. I'm gonna be a snob and say that I prefer the French title to the translated one.
