I think this book does a great job of showcasing how love, care and attention helps nurture kids into proper grown adults. And how family backgrounds and dynamics play such a big role in our upbringing. In such a short story, the author is able to make me feel for all the characters and long for all of them to get the best of everything. It's a story that stays with you even after it ends.
