📕 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Wyatt by Jessica Peterson
📙 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Lucky River Ranch character series. Book 2.
📗 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: E-book on Kindle. 🆓️ on KU
📘 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲: Cowboy romance
📔 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: Friends-to-lovers, slow burn, intimacy lessons, tattoos for her, veterinarian, pining.
📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Wyatt has been in love with Sally for over a decade. But as she continues on toward her veterinary career, their future looks more and more bleak. Until Sally comes home for the winter before her new job in New York, and Wyatt has a chance to shoot his shot.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Sometimes I forget how good friends-to-lovers slaps. This book just reminded me.
Wyatt and Sally were all of the swoon - and I appreciated how Peterson left the couple steeped in tension but not over dramatic. Sally was independent and strong. Wyatt was a rock for her, in her corner every step of the way. In their POVs, their feelings were clear. In their actions, they were unsure and vulnerable. It was all *chef's kiss*.
I don't want to spoil all of the good stuff, but this book left me with a smile on my face. I think it says something about the quality of writing when you know the book's ending will be happy, and you're invested in the journey nonetheless, and that's what Jessica Peterson gave us here.
Now on to the next one!
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4.5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
