Midnight Sun by Jo Nesbø
4.0
A pretty straightforward fixer-on-the-run story, with a great setting on the top of the world in Finnmark, Norway. I liked it a bit better than the first Blood on Snow book, chiefly due to the setting and the pleasure of discovering connections to the prior book as this story unfolds. The audio version inexplicably has a female reader, which would normally be no big deal for me. However, this is a story written in first-person, from the point of view of a pretty rough-and-tumble guy seeking redemption. A deeper, gruffer voice is called for.
