The Girl in the Eagle's Talons by Karin Smirnoff

3.0

A bit slow to start and finally mention Lisbeth way too late in the beginning but enjoyed the book once it started moving. Not sure if I enjoyed reading it because it was great writing or I was just glad to have another book with Lisbeth Salander to read again. Unfortunately Steig is irreplaceable in his writing and storytelling, most characters have just fallen flat in the last 4 books. Michael being shoved into the f-boy character is disappointing in general. He didn't really do much to move the plot along in this book besides being a grandpa and feel like it's time for him to either take on a larger role or be removed to the background character story arc because he's just kind of limping along at this point trying to be co-lead. Overall looking forward to some more Millenium books in the future and hoping the new author gets some good footing moving ahead.
