Infinite Country by Patricia Engel

5.0

Talia was just a teenage girl in Bogotá, Columbia until an act, of what some might say was totally founded, landed her in a correctional facility for girls. But, Talia has places to be and a strict timeline she must keep.

@patricia__engel switches between Talia and her parents, Mauro and Elena, and the events and choices that have brought them to where they are now as Talia fights to get back to her father in Bogotá in time to catch a flight to her mother in the U.S.

The chance to watch the growth of these characters, the hope of starting a new a life, and the devastation from risking it all is an experience nobody should pass up. This book opened my eyes to events that are so real in the world while I fell in love with each of the characters despite all the choices made.

Definitely a must read.
