When I read one of John Marrs' speculative thrillers, I'm immediately immersed into a wild future that doesn't seem possible, even if most of the thoughts are things that 'could' happen. I *love* these books.
That being said, this one seems the most far fetched in terms of Smart Marriages and the benefits that go with them. Granted some of the things that happened in this book are entirely possible - though I won't list them because some of them might be too spoilery.
In short, if the question is "Should I read this book?" If it's by Marrs, the answer is yes.
