I'll try to avoid spoilers but can't guarantee:
The tone of this book was just off for me. The nickname that Alec made Max use was creepy and it all felt a bit rushed. Max didn't even appear interested in BDSM and suddenly he's moved in with the guy?! Unrealistic IMO. Also Alec was way too controlling, I know that was his thing but I feel it could have been portrayed better, perhaps more consensual or at least Max being better informed before agreeing to be Alec's 'baby'. Basically I didn't like Alec.
