This shit is fu-ucked up.
I didn't finish Anna's story. I couldn't. And it's not because I'm overly sensitive and can't handle vulgar realities, and it's not because it wasn't intriguing, or because it didn't hold my attention, but because I emotionally and mentally could not read any further. I don't know if I'll make it back around to it one day... if I'll start again with another try, or try to pick up where I left off... but I literally couldn't pick up my Kindle for three weeks after I stopped reading this. Forget "book hangover." This was "book poisoning;" I had to purge my mind for days and days after setting it down.
