3rd book of January 2023 and 3rd of the year:
The eighth book in one of my favorite series, the Wayward Children series, this had amazing storytelling, writing, and world-building, and a beautifully done audiobook like the books that came before it. I canโt recommend this distinctive and magical series enough, and Iโm excited to continue on with it! Just be aware, however, that this book was heavier than the other Wayward Children books and certain things/topics were very hard to read about. TWs for abuse(child, emotional, and domestic), body horror, death, death of a parent, gaslighting, grief, pregnancy, pedophilia, and sexual harassment๐๐ช
