Anthem by Ayn Rand
4.0

I did not realize how quick of a read this book would be but it was interesting nonetheless. It is based in Rand’s ideology of individualism and takes it to a new level by not only incorporating the very basic meaning of it into the structure of the story itself and how it is told, but also how it is understood by the reader. Reading Fountainhead prior to this, I now better understand Rand’s philosophy and can better pinpoint where I agree and disagree with it. I look forward to thinking more about the ideas presented here and how they may or may not have importance in society today.
