TW on page sexual assault.

Ugh.  So the first 70% was fast moving, and even though it wasn't reinventing the wheel, it wasn't terrible.   The plot is basically a combo of FBAA, ACOTAR, and TOG, but with a really annoying heroine.  It was obvious that Soren was going to be the prince of fire.   I really felt bad for Callum and Cassius.

I was pretty sure I wanted to continue the series until the last 30% made me want to stab myself in the eye.   Scarlet was so repetitive,  "I hate you," "Don't call me that."  I was so over her constant tantrums about being betrayed and endangering everyone that was trying to flee and keep her safe.  Someone please slap some sense into her.
