This sequel! SO. GOOD. I still cannot believe I have never read this trilogy before. The pacing is amazing. Reads like a train we say in Dutch and we'll it really does. Like on of those high-speed ones that just don't stop because it's hard to put these books down.
Though I will say, I'm fully convinced Katniss is on the ace-aro spectrum.
Like first of all, she's been faking the whole thing with Peeta and feels barely anything about it except for it being a great strategy. They have a few real moments, but nothing that really stands out to me as romantic. Secondly, I feel like she wants us to think she's torn between Gale and Peeta. But we, the reader, don't really know Gale and her time with him. It's making it hard to see anything romantic between them. Whereas with Peeta we do see them together so much, yet Katniss is only thinking of how to use him to her advantage.
Anyways just my thoughts on that.
I love these books and I'm so excited to read the final one.
