longy207 's review for:
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
by Lewis Carroll
This was an excellent classic book, full of characters I've loved all my life but reading this book again as an adult brought some much needed information about them.
The story follows Alice as she navigates a very strange land (Wonderland) where she also encounters numerous strange characters. Alice grows bigger and shrinks smaller as she goes along meeting the odd characters and learning different morals to different stories. She almost loses herself in the process but then comes home to find it was all just a dream that will stay with her forever.
The best thing about this book is the true skill that is involved in the writing and the use of the English language to turn the simplest phrase to have multiple meanings.
I have honestly never been as in love with a book as I am with this one.
