I honestly didn’t go into this with any expectations. Dystopian fiction isn’t a favorite genre, but I figured since I had it I might as well give it a shot. I ended up pleasantly surprised. I like the way Veronica Roth writes about characters in the aftermath of a major event not in the thick of it. It was a quick read that wasn’t overly complex but had enough to keep things interesting.
