I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was grotesque, disgusting, and awful! Everything I wanted from it. The horror skeeved me out severely. My biggest gripe with the book that kept it from being a 5 star read was the descriptions in the book that screamed it was written by a man. When a character would be scared their “testicles drew up into his abdomen,” and on the rare occasion we got the description of a woman the most important thing seemed to always be her boobs. Thank god all of the main characters are men because this book would have SUCKED if this guy had to write about a woman for longer than a few sentences.
