Whiteout - Andköf / Ragnar Jónasson

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

~ There was usually no escaping the snow in the wintertime in this, the northernmost town in Iceland, which was so close to the Arctic Circle, the sun disappeared behind the mountains in the depths of winter… ~

Another trip to Iceland, and I gotta say this is one of the best trips yet! First off, it was really good. With each installment I’m further invested in the lives of Ari Thór, and Tomas and all involved.

It was strange for it to be taken out of Siglufjörður, especially with the changes in all the lives of the main characters since Rupture. But you don’t question the changes, they work. The landscape just adds to the story as much as the characters.

The mystery was interesting too, and murders, and a flex back to the past. It was interesting with a good outcome that kept you guessing right until the end. Sad story with its conclusion.

Loved the end for AT and Kristian, with enough breadcrumbs now leading to the next instalment that I’m beyond excited for! The revelation on his Da, where’s my popcorn?! Only problem is Borrowbox is giving me a date in June for availability!!!
