I am not sure what to think of this book. The first book was too long but this book was too short! It seemed more romance than fantasy to be honest. I wanted more world building, more classes, more action but I only remember a few classes, only 1 sparring time, way too much bullying happening, a few steamy scenes. Everything seemed to fall flat. Medra doesn't talk to people much not even Orcades. There was also more POV chapters from Blake and even Florence so that was strange. I hope the 3rd book will be a tad longer and have more to do with friends.
