I have rarely been so infuriated with a mc as i am with Persephone. She is just songoddamn stubborn. Regardless who advises her to refrain from certain actions (Hades, Hecante, Sybil, etc.) she does them anyway because she so strongly believes she knows better. She is so convinced of her self that she disregards the advise of other who have been part of this world for millenia. And the thing is, she usually (quickly) realizes that she was wrong and yet, she does it again and again.
I get whiplash from her and Hades relationship. She so clearly disregards all of his wishes and concerns same as he does to her actually. She wants him to be open and truthful and he is still so secretive. Moreover, in one sentence he seemingly does not want her anymore and in the next he wants to marry her. Except for sex, the both rarely do things together.
I am getting more frustrated and furious the more i read. Persephone has so many great friends and she still cares only for herself and what she wants.
