I enjoyed the first 3/4 of this book. I hated the last 1/4. Nothing that had been developed for the character seemed to mesh with the ending, and all in all the character development basically was thrown completely out the window. I don’t believe the possession angle was enough to make this true. And I don’t buy the revenge from the spirit pushing here other because the character development from the first 3/4 didn’t show this being possible. Though it was nice to see an LGBTQ+ aspect in a rewrite of a typical princess story, it felt more like obsession especially when Alyce was practicing her magic and shape shifted into Aurora. Would not recommend.
