I was expecting a lot more considering the high ratings. Its an interesting read but to me, it was too predictable and lacked plot twists to keep me interested. It's an ok coming of age story and I guess the message is very positive and woman empowering but it just didn't cut it for me. Not sure if I will read the next books in the series as there is no real cliff hanger and I am really not immersed in the Graceling world.
