Josh's narrator has truly funny and touching moments, but I think he's overhyped. Allie's narrator is ok. Sure, the conent could be shocking but there's no substance. I was really thrown off by Allie sharing her trauma for no reason. Maybe it was the best case scenario for too much too soon. The amount of "my girlfriend" and "my boyfriend" was gross, not cute, and I did not like him calling the cat his child immediately. Also, it was obviously set in the south because they were so nonchalant about having/using guns 😆 Having too high expectations is on me. I just didn't find it that fun either.
