This book was very good. It was quite difficult at first to get through a large chunk of it. It also probably doesn't help that the dates keep changing between years which gets really confusing. The last 100 ish pages were definitely the best. It wasn't a bad book. It's hard to like books that you have to read for school. I really resonated with Marie and it was also so interesting to see the war from Werner's perspective.
