A surprisingly adult book for something classified as a children's book! I really enjoyed this. There were some dark parts and the characters in the "other" world are certainly creepy. It read almost like a Stephen King novel for kids. I definitely would recommend this to fans of the creepy and slightly horror related genre! Don't let the "juvenile" label fool you - Coraline is not just a kid's book.
