I would maybe give it a 4.5 but not quite a 5. The book introduces a new and unique social media and then shows very realistically how it works it's way into people's lives and evolves. The story shows some positive aspects of connection and good things that can happen, then concludes with a lot of negative outcomes for users of the new technology. Perhaps the theme is that any new media technology has unpredictable outcomes.
Like Fever dream the author inserts you into the middle of a story and you have to continue to read to get the full context. A great way to draw the reader in.
