A Million Suns by Beth Revis
5.0

This is the first book that I've read this year that I actually liked a lot. I mean A LOT. That isn't saying much since the seven or eight books I've read so far in this (last, haha) year have been, at best, 'just alright'. However, this book would have been good last year too.

A Million Suns is the sequel to the awesome book, Across the Universe. I was again able to read what Amy and Elder were thinking three months after they found out numerous secrets and lies about Godspeed. Eldest is now dead. Orion is frozen. Elder is now leader of the ship. However, no one wants to listen to him (mostly because they are no longer drugged up). Amy still mourns her parents, especially since she now thinks that they are hundreds of years away from reaching the new Earth. But you know, something new has to be revealed. AS Amy and Elder are faced with more secrets, lies, rebellions, deaths, mysteries and tyranny, their 'love' (not that they ever say that the love each other) is...it deepens. Right.

I loved this book. Not enough to give it five stars, though, because at times it frustrated me. But I love Elder and I like Amy (which is saying a lot since most times female protagonists annoy me). I'm just upset about the fact that I have to wait about a year now for the final book to be release. Darn it! :(
