In the Gray by B.B. Reid
5.0
Bombs were dropped in this book. I was speechless and my mouth dropped to the floor with the plot. Its crazy messy good!!!
Atlas is trying to cope with the hand life has handed her and decides to escape her crappy home life. Rowdy is hot-tempered, ruthless and vicious. He sees Atlas and wants Atlas but senses that something isn't quite right with her.
This age-gap office romance surprised me. The characters have colourful personalities. Rowdy and Atlas have similar attitudes, so the banter between them had my eyes glued to the pages.
I've enjoyed this book immensely. It's thrilling, memorable and messy. In The Gray is exactly that, there were gray aspects to the relationship between Atlas and Rowdy, which can be cringy and not for everyone.
