This was so FUN. Amina’s voice is refreshing and funny, and it’s great to see a fantasy story with a protagonist who is middle-aged and a mother. Really great cast/crew to spend time with, lots of cool lore and world building going on. Magic! Fighting! Giant sea monsters! Oh, and a ship’s cat who doesn’t know how to catch mice. Perfect.
