A warm and fuzzy read.

Dora is my spirit human. I love her so so much. The detachedness she feels in every situation is so relatable, it's alarming.

Lovable characters and a pretty straight forward plot. Not a hardcore fantasy: you won't be getting any world building or magic systems, etc. It is a light hearted fairy tale. And I loved it.

Though I have to mention that many of Dora's characteristics are similar to neurodivergent characters, and I'm not sure what to make of these characteristics being a result of her having only "half" of her soul. But I've heard the author is neurodivergent too(Not sure if it makes any difference)and,

The "happy" ending does not include Dora becoming "whole". Dora finds her happy ending by being "Half". So that was enough for me

Overall, I had fun and the relatable MC made this a favorite book for me.
