3.5/5… I was hooked reading this book from the start (maybe because it had been on my list for so long), but around the halfway point, the narrative became an overall mess- losing it’s structure and coherence. I don’t even have the energy, nor the words, to explain all the ways this book went wrong. Despite a promising start, the middle was a significant letdown, and the ending fell short of my expectations. This wasn’t the read I was hoping for, but thankfully, it isn’t too long of a book.
