“I never meant for it to go the way it did. I swear. I just wanted to talk to someone. I didn’t mean to fall in love.”

Tessa, a girl suffering from agoraphobia, is trying to cope with her situation by extremely active on twitter and by listening to the music of Eric. On the other side, Eric gets sick of his life, his passion is now just a way to earn money. Majority of his followers are just drooling over his body, they don’t even listen to his music. His so-called fans annoy the hell out of him.

The story is cliche but unique, I liked the concept. The writing style is intriguing. Tessa and Eric are completely relatable and I was rooting for them. Some times they were a bit too much *cringy*. But overall I liked the story.

It is actually uncommon that a story is sweet but also dark. The twists and turns kept me on edge. Didn’t even heard the name of the book ever before, found in Dollar tree, got it, read it, liked it. The ending was a cliff hanger, and I was so invested in the book that I immediately jump into sequel after finishing it.

Though I didn’t like Tessa’s mother, her character was so confusing which just makes readers confuse and her character doesn’t even help to story in anyways.

“We always made each other feel better—even when it seemed like everything else in our lives was going straight to hell.”
