Ok. Did i expect at the beginning of the book that there'd be some monsterfucking with a ghost? Yes. Would the book be better if it happened? Who knows, it would be a different book. I liked the grief part. I liked Sam. Did I imagine Andrew Minyard as the main character through the whole book? Also Yes. 
Honestly I thought I wouldn't like this one at all and I really enjoyed it. So, kudos.
