Transgender History: The Roots of Today's Revolution by Susan Stryker

5.0

Wow! First real book I've read exclusively on trans history and it seemed pretty comprehensive.

Went chronologically and highlighting major moments in history. I could see teachers having this in their classrooms as a shorthand for referencing events.

Definitely recommend as a starting place on trans studies. One could make note of events they found of interest and start to do a deeper dive.
