The Honey Witch
by Sydney J. Shields
"It's better to be lost in a beautiful daydream than trapped in a dim reality."
The Honey Witch - Sydney J. Shields
In a story that is combins Bridgerton and Practical Magic, The Honey Witch follows Marigold Claude on her journey to fulfill her destiny, battle evils and find love.
For the most part I really enjoyed The Honey Witch. It was whimsical, romantic and fun and truly felt like the perfect autumnal read. The story was a bit predictable, but if I'm being honest I didn't mind this at all. It was a book that I did not want to put down. I will say the ending was a bit too cheesy for my liking, but up until the last 10 pages or so, no complaints from me.
4 stars: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
