ok this was very interesting to me because ive never seen a trope like this where the mmc is hiding something from her but he actually wants to tell her. usually its miscommunication and some mention of “i love her but im hiding this huge massive secret that will blow up our relationship so she can never ever find out” like 6 times a chapter. so it was kind of refreshing but also weird? to see him outright tell her he has a secret and her telling him she doesn’t want to hear it. it also made the third act breakup interesting cause how could she know hes keeping something that big from her but also he tried to tell you?? idk this book definitely had some moments where i was like ok….. but it was still very entertaining.
