To be completely honest Aelin was starting to bug me mid-way through this book and I was living for the Lorcan/Elide and Manon chapters. But my annoyance in the beginning was more than made up for with non-stop action of the last few chapters. 

I did a tandem read with Tower of Dawn and I'm so glad I read them that way! Bring on Kingdom of Ash.
