I got to read this anthology at the perfect time. I was getting ready for a procedure and some of you may understand the time it can take and how hard it can be to get your reading fix in for the day. This being an anthology meant that I could read the stories in any order that I wanted. I could read the shorter ones first and then make my way to the longest one.

Something else that’s great about reading an anthology is you get to discover some new authors and in other cases you may rediscover an author you haven’t read in a while. In some instances I wondered if the story was part of a series. This means that I have some investigative work to do.

Thread Bare by Victoria Blue was a good beginning. If you’re going to read this anthology in order than why not start with a couple with a history. It’s almost like a train. You start off slow and continually build up steam. The most steam is left for last in Red and White by Sierra Simone. We see what happens between three people and Mother Nature. These were just two authors that were new for me. I’ve already decided that I will definitely be reading this again but in the order in which the book was put together. But it may take a while because I also have that investigative work to do.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
