Our Moon: How Earth's Celestial Companion Transformed the Planet, Guided Evolution, and Made Us Who We Are by Rebecca Boyle

informative medium-paced

This was a quite entertaining and yet educational book!  I was taught at the time that the moon was captured a long long time ago. Apparently that's not the most current theory of where the moon came from.  The book covered where it came from (at least the latest theories!), how life on earth is tied to the moon, how we initially worshiped the moon, and up to humans landing on the moon, how it affected the astronauts, and what's being planned for post-pandemic.  I really enjoyed the book!  I learned a lot!
