First of all, I would like to congratulate Ally Condie for starting a dystopian series.
I always have felt the awkwardness between Cassia and Xander and immediately knew they aren't the match I was hoping for. My hunch told me so, which was quite right.
When she mentioned Ky's name to the official, by the description, I already liked ky by THAT much. He's the kind of guy that I cease to exist in real life. He has a kind and loving heart. He experienced things that a young person should not and cannot carry, but because he is so strong he survived the hardship. And I admire him for that.
But for Cassia, I did not like her immediately. I felt uneasiness for her by liking Ky and liking Xander and thinking of Ky while with Xander and sometimes thinking of Xander while with Ky.
If I were her, I'd rather choose Ky. He's my new fictional crush. <3
And finally, I like the way Ally Condie narrated the story. It doesn't confuse me to whoever is speaking. She has a way of expressing things that I have ALWAYS wanted to learn since childhood.
And now, that gives me that-matched-feel.
