Breach of Peace by Daniel B. Greene

2.0

Honestly better than I was expecting! I think the world building elements were really interesting and he did well making tension and getting me invested (at least as far as is possible with the small number of pages). I really did not like the main character at all, and the characters were really one note. It’s very very clear that this was just meant to set things up/be a long prologue, which can be a little frustrating since it ends up feeling kind of pointless, especially when done like this where everyone is just kind of brutally murdered by the end so everything I may have rooted for is completely squashed, absolute zero return on my investment in the story lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
