This is the second book in the made for series and I couldn't put it down. This book got me from the beginning and became one of my favorites of the author's.
Vivianne surprised me a lot, we had had small glimpses of her personality in the previous books, but nothing like having her as the main character. She is reserved, empathetic, very protective and a good listener, which makes her and Xavier complement each other well. Their connection is something very sweet.
Xavier, god, the way he had to deal with everything and get away from it just wow. I loved how the issues like anxiety and depression were dealt with, for someone who suffers from anxiety, the moment when Xavier tells his story and how lonely he felt had me in tears.
Xavier and Vivianne are one of my favorite couples of the author's and their story has a very special place in my heart.
